Architecture of a Scalable Minecraft Network

Never run a 500-player network on a single monolithic server instance. Partitioning traffic across a Velocity proxy, dual lobby nodes, and multiple Paper survival instances isolates lag.

1. Memory Allocation Matrix

Velocity Proxy: 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM
Hub/Lobby 1 & 2: 2 vCPU, 4GB RAM each
Survival SMP: 4 vCPU (High Clock), 16GB RAM
Minigames: 4 vCPU, 12GB RAM
